Bonjour à tous,

J'ai acheté un scanner Epson 3170 pour le mettre sous Linux.

J'ai suivi la procédure, mais ça ne marche pas. Iscan se bloque, et xsane ne reconnait rien. Je ne sais plus quoi faire.

Version des programmes utilisés (ou pas):

uname -a :

3. Edit "/etc/sane.d/epkowa.conf".

epkowa.conf.

usb 0x4b8 0x110

Fait!

Sous iscan, dès que je lance aperçu ou numérisation, le programme semble figé ou hyper-lent, et le scanner ne répond pas. Donc recherche sous google, j'ai trouvé ça:

Je l'ai fait, mais ça ne change rien. Il met "Impossible d'envoyer une commande au scanner"

PS1: j'ai fait le test sous Windows 2000, le scan marche correctement.
PS2: par contre, j'ai une trainée rouge qui apparait sur les scans (dans le sens verticale) => problème hardware => SAV ? :sweat:

drakscanner dit koi à ce propos ?

fais attention pour l'USB notamment en testant avec l'APIC désactivé et en veillant que "Assign IRQ to USb device = No" dans le BIOS

Il ne le trouve pas automatiquement. J'avais plus pensé à ce programme.
Il n'est pas dans la liste... [:totoz]

Mais non ! Je ne vais pas acheter un produit sachant qu'il n'est pas supporté.

Au fait :

For users of the Perfection 3170 PHOTO or Perfection 4180 PHOTO's ADF option

Image Scan! for Linux does not scan the selected area when scanning
at high resolutions via the ADF unit of the Perfection 3170 PHOTO
and Perfection 4180 PHOTO.

We are looking for a way to fix this and, in the meantime,
suggest you scan at a lower resolution.

Bon, tu avais vu cela :

Previewing and scanning does not work

Image Scan! for Linux starts fine, but previewing and scanning does not work.

If you have previously configured the SANE net backend, Image Scan!
for Linux may fail to preview or scan properly with at least the following scanners:

This problem has been confirmed on Red Hat Linux 9 and can be worked

Mais bon, de toute façon, je dois le retourner à l'expéditeur, y'a une magnifique trainée rouge sur les scans (poussière sur le capteur j'imagine). Ca fait chier, c'est tout. [:spamafote]

Mêm problème avec xsane, ça rame comme pas permis, et le scanner ne répond pas.

Bon, je vais ramener ce scanner aujourd'hui, à cause du défaut de la ligne rouge. :sweat:

Non, non, j'ai bien mis 0x0116 (spécifique au 3170)

Le 0x110, c'est dans l'exemple pour un autre scanner.

Voila, j'ai un nouveau scanner. Testé sous Windows 2000, il marche nickel. :sol:

Je vais tenter de l'installer sous Linux... :whistle:

Enfin sous root uniquement, mais au moins ça marche. :jap:

A croire que le précédent scanenr avait vraiment un problème.

Questions sur Iscan:
il ne gère pas les supports de négatifs, comme les outils sous Windows ?
Sous Windows, les négatifs sont bien séparés un par un, alors que sous Linux, c'est la planche complète. J'imagine qu'on doit le faire à la main sous Gimp après coup.
Le format PNM, c'est le meilleur format pour des scan de haute qualité ? Quitte à compresser en jpeg sous Gimp après coup ?
