Bonjour, et merci
voila, j'aimerais jouer à enemy teritory et racer.
Mais le probleme, c'est que racer ne se lance qu'une fois sur 10 et E.T ne marche convenablement qu'une fois sur 10..... devinez pourquoi.
un bon matin, je me suis dit :"ont va résoudre ce probleme" et j'ai lancé la commande

j'ai donc suivi un tas de tuto, reconfigurer le serveur x 10* le nom du serveur ( [:acherpy] ).J'ai bien sure réinstallés les drivers nvidia plusieurs fois.
j'ai déja cherché sur internet, et sur le forum, mais malheuresement, quelqu'un qui était dans le meme cas que moi, avait réussis, mais la personne était sous mandriva ( :lol: :lol: )et les commande (et les fichiers) ne marche pas sous ma petite ubuntu.

que faire.

ps: xorg.conf (après une reconfiguration fraiche du serveur xorg).
Par contre, j'ai un device nommé WACOM, et je ne sais pas ce que c'est (je n'ai pas de tablet pc)...
cela pourrait il perturbé mon DRI ???

non, ben ca rebug, malgé avoir mis en commentaire ce qu'il fallait.
par contre ce wacom, je ne peut pas l'enlevais (je n'ai pas de tablet).
quand je le met en commentaire, au prochain démarrage cela med it:
"impossible e démarrer le serveur x..."

Tu as normalement le log pour le serveur X qui se trouve dans /var/log/Xorg.0.log. Essaye de poster les deux exmpleaire de ce fichier de log: celui quand le direct rendering marche, et celui quand il ne marche pas.

Pour le pb avec wacom, tu peux le supprimer, mais dans ce cas, il faut aussi supprimer/commenter les lignes qui y font reference dans la section ServerLayout (les trois lignes stylus, cursor et eraser).

Et tu peux me tutoyer, ya as de pb

Tu avais visiblement desactivé le wacom lorsque le direct rendering marchait. Ca m'etonnerait que ca soit la cause du probleme, mais est-ce que même en le desactivant (le wacom), il t'arrive de ne pas avoir le direct rendering ?
Tu utilise bien le package ubuntu pour le driver nvidia ?

sinon j'utilise bien les pacquets inclus dans ubuntu dapper.
