probléme de son avec sis 7012

Bonjour
J´ai installer le fedora 3 sur mon portable (c´est ma première expérience avec linux).
J´ai une carte de son  sis 7012.Le driver sur linux devrai être intel8x0 et on peux voir que il ne reconnaît pas la carte (il voit seulement que c´est SIS) mas il choisit intel8x0.Mas de toute façon j´ai pas de son.
Quand je teste le son, j´ai rien. J´essaye de lancer alsamixer et je reçois cette message : no mixer found .Aucun mixer (aumix, kmix, etc ) ouvre.
Ça commence à être désespérant.  
Le fichier /proc/asound/cards me montre le sis si7013 modem. Je trouve cela drôle. Si c´est un modem, c´est pas une carte de son ???je sais que sis si7013 modem c´est différent de sis 7012 mas pourquoi ce modem apparaît ici ???
