Bon , voilà, je viens de tomber sur mon premier matos incompatible avec XP.  
 
Une imprimante Xerox Docuprint XJ8C.
 
Bien entendu j'ai contacté Xerox (driver pas développé!).
Surfé tous leurs sites.
Essayé les drivers de W95, 98, 2000, NT.
Fait fonctionner l'assistant de compatibilité.
 
Par miracle, avant que je ne jette l'éponge, personne n'aurait réussi à faire marcher cette cochonne sous XP?
 
J'aime pas jeter l'éponge sans être sûr que...

Je sens que je vais au gros bide  

euh au taff j'ai du xerox (impriamnte n2125 * 3 + N17 *3 copieur DC432ST Pro + DCCS50)
 
et bien leurs drivers quels que soit l'os (NT, win2k, 98, 95, MacOS) sont merdiques
 
remarque j'ai po testé linux
 
alors si tu  peux
 
vires le xerox !!!!

In response to your note, due to the age of the Docuprint XJ8c and Xj9c, Xerox will most likely not produce a fully functional driver for that  
particular operating system.  However, with PCL3+ emulation compliance, you can use a secondary driver in place of our software that will allow you to
print both Black & white and/or color documents.
 
The Lexmark 5700 driver is the only emulation driver available at this  
time.  You will need to add this driver through your "add printer wizard" utilities.  You do not need to download the driver. Close all background  
programs or applications.  
 
Go to Start -> Settings -> and Printers.  Once you have gained access to the printers folder double left click on the Add Printer icon.  You need to  
follow the onscreen instructions until you come to Manufacturers and printers.  On this screen please select Lexmark as the manufacturer and "5700" as
the printer and click next.  You will need to set the printer as the default machine (if prompted) and proceed with the installation.  If you receive  
an error message that a disk is needed you need to load the Windows XP system CD-ROM and click next to complete the installation.

enfin ca confirme de que j'ai constaté
 
donc en 2003 je vire les Xerox !

Voilà un gars qui a du mordant!    
 
Faut virer aussi Lexmark  ?
