j'ai telecharger un firmware pour mon lecteur de dvd pour le dezonner(compaqDRD8080B avec un firmware de 1.07 pour le moment) mais je n'arrive pas a mes fin.
quand je lance l'exe que j'ai telechargé il me copie des fichiers sur un disquette sous dos puis quand je lance le fichier update.bat qui est sur la disquette j'ai le message suivant "no drive"
q'1 peut il m'aider?

et le fichier update.bat y'a quoi dedans ?
ton lecteur DVD est-il en maître sur ton canal IDE secondaire (c'est l'option par défaut des installs de firmware) ?

 pour le reste mon lecteur de dvd est bien en maitre sur le prise secondaire ide.

est-tu bien sûr d'avoir télécharger le fichier pour ton lecteur DVD et pas celui d'un autre modèle ?

si tu veux savoir le nom du modèle de ton lecteur dvd, utilise nero cd speed par exemple...

il te dit quoi si tu tapes Pxfer2 au lieu du nom du .bat ?

bon deja je me plantais des le debut je ne bootais pas a partir la disquette...
mais bon c pas pour ca que ca marche quand meme :-(
apres avoir booté sur la disquette je tape pxfer2.exe lg8x114.mot ;apres je dois selectionner mon lecteur de dvd puis apres avoir taper sur entrer la disquette bosse pendant 30 secondes donc jusque ici tout doit etre bon mais a la fin j'ai le message suivant: command error(mode select)
maybe wrong .mot
dans nero mon lecteur est bien affiché comme un compaq drd 8080b V1.07

et si tu tapes juste Pxfer2  sans spécifier le fichier il doit te donner la syntaxe de la commande...

si je ne rentre que pxfer2.exe j'ai un message d'erreur sous dos que'il me dit qu'il lui faut le .mot

c'est tout ? y'a pas d'autres paramètres ?

est ce que le fait de passer d'un firmware 1.07 a 1.14 peut poser des pb?
je n'ai pas trouvé de firmware intermedaire.

nan passer d'un firmware à un autre ne pose aucun pb...
t'as fait des recherches sur internet pour essayer de trouver d'autres sources pour ton firmware ?

 Place: A blank floppy diskette in your 3.5? disk drive A:
                Double-Click:  My Computer Icon on your desktop
 
                Right-Click: The drive letter that is the 3.5? drive.
 
                Choose : Format.
 
                Choose: Copy System Files Only, Click OK.
 
                Let: The PC Make the disk bootable.
 
Copy: The DRD8080Bfirm105.EXE file to the floppy boot disk you just created.
 
Type: DRD8080Bfirm105.EXE to extract the files and allow files to be overwritten if you get a message to asking if you want to overwrite the files.
 
Re-Boot your PC with the bootdisk in Drive A: (Note: you may need to change  Your boot sequence in the CMOS Setup in order to boot to drive A:. Please see your motherboard instructions or contact your PC manufacture for instructions on changing the boot sequence.)
 
 
 
The driver should load and the system should recognize your DVD-ROM  drive.
 
 
 
    At the A:> prompt  type   PXFER2.EXE D2LG7CEA.MOT   then press  enter
 
 
The computer will display a screen indicating the firmware process has begun.
 
 DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE DRIVE DURING THIS PROCESS.  
 
 
 
When the UPGRADE is complete the screen should indicate FIRMWARE UPGRADE COMPLETE . The way to test this if you receive this message is to reboot the PC and view the properties of the CD-ROM in device manager and verify the ROM version. It should indicate ROM version 1.05

Nan je dis des bêtises, ne tient pas compte des 2 posts précédents, dsl, faudrait ptet essayer de démarrer ton pc en mode msdos (le mode AVEC plein d'echecs) pour voir si c'est une histoire de détection de lecteur, ptet...

 ben comme le dit le texte moi c une version aem (compaq) donc c tres risqué de vouloir passer celui ci non?
surtout que c pas les meme puisque moi je suis en firmware v 1.07 et celui ci est en 1.05...

de toute facon tant pis je vais le laisser comme ca je vais utiliser dvd region free pour dezonner le lecteur.
