Step 8: Highlights.
With your selection (those damned marching "ants" ) still in place, Create another New Layer. Name this Layer "Highlight Wet".
Select the Marquee Tool, and click within the selection somewhere, dragging the selection only a few pixels left, and toward the top. Once this is done, PC users hold the Ctrl key, and the Alt key (MACheads, make it Command and Option) and click on the Wet Layer.
This will subtract that much from the present selection. Now, use the Marquee Tool to drag the selection back into place, and fill the selection on the Highlight Wet Layer with white.
