Toujours le meme pb : il me detecte bien mon driver et ma carte, seulement dans system/admin/reseau
je ne la vois pas : juste eth0 et eth1 :/

tu as fait comment pour installer les drivers sans ndisgtk ? en console, c'est plus simple :)
 

cd <le_chemin_du_répertoire_où_est_le.inf_des_drivers_windows>
sudo modprobe ndiswrapper
sudo ndiswrapper -i ledriverwindows.inf
sudo ndiswrapper -l : pour voir s'il s'est correctement installé
sudo ndiswrapper -m : pour associer ndiswrapper avec une interface réseau
sudo nano /etc/modules : rajouter ndiswrapper à la fin
sudo iwconfig


 
et poste le résultat :)

j'etais passé par le terminal, mais maintenant je suis passé sur mandriva, et la miracle : aucun pb, tout ce fait tout seul, j'ai mis le cd de driver XP dans le pc, ndiswrapper c'est lancer tout seul et ma installer ma carte wifi gentillement :)

 


(d'ailleur je vous ecris depuis mandriva la :p)

t'as bien de la chance, moi j'ai buté sur 2 installs wifi différentes, où même avec les drivers windows, ça marchait pas, rien à faire :/

J'ai télécharger l'auto-package de amsn0.96 mais je ne sais pas comment l'installer (le fichier se termine en .package)

 

En fait j'ai pas encore vraiment bien saisit le principe d'installation sous linux ^^

Pour Autopackage, c'est un système d'installation séparé donc,
ça ne fout pas le bronx, je te conseil juste si tu as installé AMSN par Synaptic de le désinstaller avant d'installer l'Autopackage, au cas où il écraserait les fichiers

tient j'ai installé la même aujourd'hui et j'ai du compiler la dernière version de ndiswrapper pour que ca marche :)

Finalement j'ai pu installer EDGY avec un lecteur DVD IDE sur un disque SATA [:shay]
 
Il faut bien penser à mettre l'IDE en AHCI et non en IDE ou RAID et ça roule.
Attention quand même, la dapper (CD original), ça ne démarre pas et j'ai pas essayé la Feisty.
 
Avec EDGY, pas de souci !

Il y a quelque chose que je ne comprend pas.

 

Je veux modifier le noyau pour intégrer les fonctions speedstep du C2D en suivant les directives de INTEL sur cette page :

Je ne modifie que les paramètres précisés sans rien toucher d'autre, en reprennant à la base le schéma du noyau 2.6.17 en cours sous EDGY.
Avec les noyaux "generic" je n'ai pas de problème de carte wifi (carte reconnue + accès) ; mais le speedstep est mal pris en compte.

 

Une fois la compilation noyau + header réalisé, la carte wifi est reconnue MAIS je n'ai pas accès au web ; en revanche le speedstep est pris correctement en compte, sans doute grâce aux infos INTEL.

 

Qu'est-ce que je peux faire pour avoir ce foutu système wifi qui fonctionne correctement ET le speedstep qui tourne ?

 

Je suis vraiment pas doué :cry:

J'avais jamais eu de pb perso, que ce soit avec dapper ou edgy  :whistle:

eh ben ... tu choppes le .config de ton kernel kivabien, tu fais un make xconfig et tu rajoutes l'option speedstep, tu recompiles et zoup ... [:opus dei]

Parce que je suis un pas doué pour les installs ... enfait j'ai pas vraiment pigé comment ca fonctionnait (et puis la compilation aussi ...)

Bah, faut demander alors, pour installer des logiciels, tu passe par "Synaptic" ou par "Ajouter/enlever"
Bien entendu, certains logiciels ne sont pas en dernière version (mais si tu avais regardé les messages qui citent le tien, tu verrais que je t'ai donné un lien ;) )

 

Il faut aussi lire un peu les Wiki francophone sur Ubuntu tel que http://www.ubuntu-fr.org , ils sont très instructif ;)

(je désinstalle la version package pour installe via le gestionnaire de paquets [installe plus propre ?) ou alors je peu laisser ? )
 
Pour les installs par synaptic et "ajouter/enlever" ca j'avais compris, mais c'est lorsqu'il faut lancer des installs par la console avec des "make" et tout là je pige tout de suite un peu moins :/

Il vaut mieux désinstaller la version autopackage en effet
Edit : Il est plus propre de passer par les .deb car c'est le système d'installation par défaut ;)

 

Pour les make et compagnie, c'est de la compilation, et très souvent, les logiciels existent en version .deb
Quand ce n'est pas sur les dépôts officiels, c'est trouvable sur le net assez facilement (vu que la communauté Ubuntu et Debian est assez grande)

Sur amsn 0.96 j'ai mis le plugin amsn plus, et lorsque je veux le configurer j'ai qu'une seule option , c'est celle des textes rapides, je ne peux rien configurer d'autre.
Et aussi mes émotes ne s'affichent pas (sur ma fenetre) mes celles de mes contacts si ...  :(  
 
C'est pas bien important vu aller me dire mais bon c'est plus agréable alors si quelqu'un sait ... ^^

Au fait je me suis toujours demandé où est-ce qu'il trouvait l'argent pour envoyer gratuitement des cds ? Car là je viens d'en demander 5 (j'ai convaincu du monde ^^) et ils me les envois comme ca pouf gratuitement ...

bah, Mark Shuttleworth (le fondateur de Canonical et donc de Ubuntu) a pas mal d'argent :D

 

Ils ont quand même diminué le nombre de CD par rapport au début (certains ont peut-être abusé) et maintenant, les CD ne sortent plus pour toute les versions (la 6.10 par exemple n'est pas disponible en CD gratuit, pour avoir des 6.10 en CD originaux, il faut maintenant commander des CD "en gros" et bien entendu payant)

 

PS : Mark Shuttleworth a été dans l'espace, donc, de l'argent, s'il en a pour faire ça, il en a pour Ubuntu :D
