DOOM 3 System Requirements

In a interview for the german magazine PCGames Hardware, John Carmack from id Software has revealed the hardware requirements for DOOM III: a video card with at least 128MB RAM and Pixel Shader 1.1 support and a 2.5GHz CPU should be enough for the stencil shadows and physics calculations. Also, Carmack announced that a testing phase might last until this summer or even later. DOOM III is expected on 4 CDs and multiplayer will include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Tournament and Last Man Standing. Thanks: ggmania. ouai, ba c normal c'est l'evolution et c'est pas si grave que ca ils demanden un cpu a 2,5ghz, on a des barton 2500+ (equivalent a 2,5ghz d'intel) pour 80 euro, enfin bon ona deja besoin de ce genre de cpu quand on voi farcry...

ui enfin le proc il fait pas tout apres faut voire la CV

bah le CV de CArmack il est deja bien grand

je me prepare psychologiquement a affronter Meta Ridley la jpeux pas jooer ce soir

bon va falloir que je change de system de cooling pour avoir un peu plus dans doom3 (dire que c'est la config min....)

 
ben vu que quand il sortira un barton 3000+ devrait couter une bouchée de pain...

ben moi je pourrais le faire tourner mais je passerai mon chemin, les fps glauque Je prefere call of duty

je vais attaquer ma troisième tentative avec ce ptit ptérodactyle...mais je pense que cette essai sera le bon

je v l'ecraser du premier coop comme els autres boss

j'ai deja plus que la puissance min, mais comme j'ai envie de voir le jeu au max details (oui la je reve) vais monter mon proco encore plus haut

Doom 3 Xbox gets exclusive co-op mode
 
Vicarious Visions boss reveals 2-player co-op mode is bound solely for the Xbox version of the upcoming shooter.
 
An interesting tidbit about Vicarious Visions' upcoming Xbox port of id Software's PC first-person shooter, Doom 3, trickled onto the Web recently. VV CEO Karthik Bala went into some detail about the 2-player co-op mode, indicating that it would be exclusive to the Xbox version of the game. The description of the mode, carried by GamePro, made it sound as though it would be an extension of the regular single player game, though it was not mentioned if this mode would be available only through splitscreen offline play, or if it would be playable via the game's Xbox Live online multiplayer support.
