- FIM-92 Stinger - A AA missle launcher.
- FGM-148 Javelin - A portable Rocket Launcher device that locks onto enemy vehicles.
- USP .45 Suppressed - A pistol that fires a 45. round with a suppressor attachment.
- M9 Pistol - A pistol that fires a 9mm round.
- Desert Eagle - A very powerful pistol with a larger caliber than a normal pistol round.

- Fragmentation Grenade - Basic grenade.
- Flashbang - A grenade that blinds and deffens anyone within the radius of the grenade.

Game Modes :
 
- Team Deathmatch - Team based variant of Deathmatch.
- Deathmatch - Free for all killing mode.
- Capture the Flag - Team based variant. Grab the enemy flag and return it to your team's base to score a point.
- Headquarters - A base is randomly set up and a team must set up a radio there before the other one does. You must defend the radio and make sure the enemy doesn't destroy it. Every second you have the base controlled you get one point. Defenders have one life only why attackers have multiple.
- Search and Destroy - Place a radio in one of two locations and defend the area until time runs out. One life for each attacker and infinite lives for defenders. If all attackers are killed, the defenders win.
- *New* Sabotage - The objective of this game is to grab the bomb (which is in the middle of the map) and plant it in the enemy's base. Once it is planted, you must defend the area until the bomb explodes. If the other team successfully defuses it, they must run the bomb from where they defused it to the other base and plant it there. The bomb cannot be returned to the middle.

- Deep Impact - Increases penetration and damage of all weapons through walls or cover.

- Eavesdrop - Allows you to listen in on enemy conversation within 30 meters (approximately 90 feet).
- Iron Lung - Increases the time you can hold your breathe while zooming in with a sniper.
- Extreme Conditioning - Allows you to sprint longer.
- Sleight of Hand - You can reload your gun faster.
- Juggernaut - Gives you extra health.
- Dead Silence - You make less noise as you move.
- Stopping Power - Bullets do more damage.
- RPG-7 - You will have an RPG-7 in the game.
- Special Grenades - You will be able to use special grenades in the game such as flash grenades.
- Grenade Launcher - Your assault rifle will come with an undermounted grenade launcher attachment (enabling this prevents you from further customizing your weapon).
- C4 - When enabled, you will have two C4's per spawn.
- UV Radar Jammer - You will not be detected on radar by firing or from radar in the sky.

I wanted to give some clarity on why the Xbox 360 beta is US Exclusive. While we would have loved to offer the beta across all platforms, world-wide, with an unlimited number of members, we regretfully have our limitations due to our development schedule and resources.

In the interest of time, resources and availability, we had to concentrate the beta's focus. The team is also crunching on a PC demo, to follow the console beta, which will be available worldwide.

First we're told by Activision that the Call of Duty 4 beta is US-only. Now Infinity Ward are telling us it's not! Well...it is, but only for a little while, until they can get it all sorted out and get everyone else onboard. An IW rep has told us:

"As for who is eligible for the Beta, there was some confusion caused this week stating that the Beta would be US-exclusive, however that statement was premature, because we have not finalized final details on who would be involved in the beta at this point. In order to get started, and kick off the beta we will begin in the United States, but are looking to go International and currently sorting out those details."

His bold. Not mine. So it's US-only for now. Everyone else, go fix yourself a cup of tea, play some Mario Strikers, and in a few weeks everything will hopefully be hunkey-dorey.
