Bonjour
J écris d un tel. Pardonnez mes fautes.
J ai un pc de bureau qui se met à redémarrer toute les 3 secondes sans fin. Écran noir.
Carte mère B75 core i3.
J ai tout débranché un par un.
Le coup du trombone dans l alimentation est ok. Elle semble fonctionner.
J ai fini par la carte mère seule sans le pross
Ça démarre 3 secondes et ça se coupe définitivement.
Si je remet le pross, ça ce met à redémarrer toute les 3 secondes....
Alors j hésite, pross ou carte mère HS?

Bootloop comme ça, ça sent plutôt le BIOS trashé (me demande pas pourquoi).

Par contre tu as de la chance, Mr Gigabyte a la bonne idée d'avoir mis un dual BIOS sur cette carte-mère => on va tenter de forcer la recopie du BIOS2 sur le BIOS1 (ça peut être un très vieux BIOS/celui d'origine par contre hein, je ne sais pas si tu as flashé ton BIOS depuis l'achat ; il existe une procédure pour forcer la copie du BIOS1->BIOS2 mais on n'en est pas là).

It is possible to make the BIOS Auto-Recovery kick in (Dual BIOS) and re-flash the MAIN BIOS with the contents of the BACKUP BIOS.

This is a simple and easy method for anyone to try before having to resort to other more difficult methods, or a RMA.

1. Shut off the power supply using the switch on the back of the PSU, wait 10-15 seconds.
2. Press and hold the case Power On switch, then while still holding turn on the power supply from the switch on the rear.
3. Still holding the case power on switch, the board will start, once it does release the case power on switch and shut off the power supply via the switch on the read of the unit. (Do the latter two parts as quickly as you can once the board starts)
4. The board will shut down.
5. Turn the power supply back on using the switch on the rear of the unit.
6. Turn on the motherboard by pressing the case power on button.

Once the board starts this time you should see the Gigabyte splash screen, or POST page, then the Auto-Recovery from Dual BIOS will kick in. You will see a checksum error, and then recovery from BACKUP BIOS will begin. Once it is done reboot your machine and enter the BIOS and load optimized defaults then save/apply/reboot back to BIOS.

j'ai un peu galéré ensuite pour régler le bios afin que windows démarre

Hé ben, chuis vraiment content pour toi [:bakk4]

Tu as dû te retrouver avec le BIOS d'origine par contre.

=> soit tu restes comme ça.

=> soit tu flashes le dernier BIOS dont tu as "besoin", et une fois que tu es sûr qu'il convient et que tu es stable, tu peux forcer la recopie du BIOS1 vers le BIOS2.

Assuming they are different exit the BIOS and shutdown.

You will find that then your monitor will turn black and you will see:

Press [Enter] to start copying main BIOS to backup BIOS...

When you press Enter more text will appear saying:

Writing BIOS image.... xxxKb OK

Once completed more text will show:

BIOS successfully recovered! Power off or reset system!

Do as it says. Both Main and Backup BIOS chips now store the same BIOS version. You can now reboot as normal.

J'ai majoritairement des CM Gigabyte, et franchement, ce Dual BIOS m'a sauvé la vie plusieurs fois (overclock à la barbare) ; sur des ASUS ou MSI haut de gamme, j'ai souvent vu cette fonction "manquer", et là c'est retour en RMA ou poubelle, ce qui fait peu sérieux.

exact, me suis retrouvé avec bios d'origine
je l'avais fait il y a quelques années, mais la j'y ai pas pensé du tout.
ca a été tellement soudain

en fait c'était la pile de la carte mere qui était hs
car suite à une coupure de courant
rebelote, démarrage toutes les 3 secondes
flash du 2eme bios pour que ca remarche
voila, si ca peut servir à d'autres
allez bon week-end
