Sujet : mozilla et java
kelus	ca y est ! j'ai enfin reussi ! j'ai copie tous les fichiers commencant par NP contenus dans le repertoire de java dans le repertoire pluggin de mozilla je suppose qu'il y en a qui sont inutiles mias ca marche !

Le fichier à copier dans le répertoire plugin de mozilla est javaplugin_oji.so

en fait j'ai le jre 1.3 qui est bien installe mais je ne sais pas quel fichier copie dans le repertoire plug in de mozilla, je n'ai pas de fichier correspondant a celui decrit dans le howto

salut, moi j'utilise mozilla sous linux. en fait il faut mettre le plugin netscape 6.
Tiens je te file un howto que j'avais chopé je sais plus où.

The Blackdown Java(TM) 2 RE, Standard Edition, v1.3.1 FCS available
in three installation formats. * A bzipped tarball which can be used to install the Java2 RE in a
location chosen by the user
- Change to the directory you want to install into, e.g /usr/local
% cd /usr/local
- Extract the contents of the Java 2 RE
% bzip2 -dc j2re-1.3.1-FCS-linux-<ARCH>.tar.bz2 | tar xvf -
(Replace <ARCH> with the architecture of your system, e.g.
replace <ARCH> with i386 if your on an Intel system.)
- Add j2re1.3.1/bin to PATH, e.g. if you installed into /usr/local
% export PATH=/usr/local/j2re1.3.1/bin:$PATH
- Continue with the Java Plug-In instructions below * A .deb file containing packages comprising the Java 2 RE
Installation:
- Choose one of our mirrors
- Become root
% su
- Add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb ftp://<mirror>/<path-to- [...] gt;/debian <dist> non-free
(replace <dist> with potato or woody)
- The standard Debian package management tools
(apt-get/dselect) now should be able to find and install
Blackdown Java-Linux packages
- The Debian packages automatically enable the Java Plug-In for
Netscape/Mozilla if these have been installed from Debian
packages. If you want to enable the Java Plug-In for manually
installed versions of Netscape/Mozilla please read the Java
Plug-In instructions below * A .rpm file containing packages comprising the Java 2 RE
Installation:
- Become root
% su
- Run the rpm command to install the packages
% rpm -iv j2re-1.3.1-1.<ARCH>.rpm
(Replace <ARCH> with the architecture of your system, e.g.
replace <ARCH> with i386 if your on an Intel system.)
- Add /usr/lib/j2re1.3/bin to PATH
% export PATH=/usr/lib/j2re1.3/bin:$PATH

salut a tous

je suis passe a mozilla 0.93 et java ne marche pas !
j'ai regarde sur mozilla.org ou un lien est indique pour telecharger le jre 1.3 mais mozilla ne telecharge pas le fichier mais l'affiche !
sur un site necessitant java, j'ai eu un message click here to get the pluggin, ce que j'ai fait. Il se telecharge, s'installe, mais toujours pas de java...

comment faire ?
