Q. How can I restore the IE animated logo? A. Using the Internet Explorer Admin Kit it is possible to modify the small "E" logo in the top right hand corner of Internet Explorer (ISP's such as MSN do this). To restore to the default perform the following: Start the registry editor (regedit.exe) Move to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar Select BrandBitmap and click Delete. Confirm Select SmBrandBitmap and click Delete. Confirm Close the registry editor Restart the computer John Savill / January 9, 2000 ou encore. 0881 » Remove IE 4.x bitmap customization. Using the IEAK, it is possible for your ISP or administrator to customize the animated IE logo.
