Error Message: The New Task Has Been Created, But May Not Run Because the Account Information Could Not Be Set (Q250039)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The information in this article applies to:

Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT : This article contains information about editing the registry. Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs. For information about how to do this, view the "Restoring the Registry" Help topic in Regedit.exe or the "Restoring a Registry Key" Help topic in Regedt32.exe.

SYMPTOMS
When you are scheduling a task with Task Scheduler, you may receive the following error message:

The new task has been created, but may not run because the account information could not be set.
The specific error is: 0x80041315: The task scheduler service is not running.
When you look at the AT Service Account settings in Advanced options, you receive the following error message:
Unable to determine AT Service Account information.
In the Services tool in Control Panel, the service is listed as Scheduler instead of Task Scheduler

CAUSE
When you install Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, the Scheduler service is updated. However, the registry entries that point to the program file may not be changed, so the previous version runs.

RESOLUTION
WARNING : Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys and Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it. If you are running Windows NT or Windows 2000, you should also update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD).

Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).

Locate the ImagePath value under the following key in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Schedule
Double-click the ImagePath value.

Change the path to:

%SystemRoot%\System32\Mstask.exe
Quit Registry Editor.

Si tu as d'autres idées, jsuis preneur ! :D

Bon, n'ayant pas trouvé de solutions, jai :

- désinstallé le service Task Scheduler (il se trouvait dans la liste d'ajout/suppression de programmes)
- Installé Cron for NT (http://www.kalab.com/freeware/cron/cron.htm)
et là je n'ai pas eu de soucis pour changer le user du service!

et ca marche nikel.
vala

Merci de votre aide! (Merci Krapaud ! :D )
