Microsoft n'a pas jugé utile, dans sa dernière série de correctifs pour Windows/IE, de publier un patch pour corriger la vulnérabilité exploitée par l'attaque Scob (rappel: le "workaround" publié par microsoft le 2 juillet avait été prouvé inutile le jour même de sa publication). le Cert-IST maintient donc son conseil d'utiliser un autre navigateur qu'IE.
