| BMOTheKiller | bravo, compiler une 1.06 rc d'alsa alors que la version native de la distro est une 1.06, c'est beau \o/ (désolé, mais bon là... :/)
tourne-toi du côté de "yum" quand tu as un souci, faire une mise à jour peut réparer certains bugs (regarde aussi ce que peut apporter une mise à jour de tel paquet, ...), la dernière version du noyau pour FC3 est le .770, il y a aussi une nouvelle version pour alsa-lib précompilée pour la distro : yum dist-upgrade |

Je suis nouveau sous linux et je viens de migrer de windows xp. J'ai installé la distribution fedora core 3.0 et cela c bien passé . voici ma configuration. processeur amd xp 1700+ carte mere asrock K7VT2 equipé du chipset VIA AC 97 disque dur matrox 40giga ecran aoc 17pouces carte graphique geforce 4mx 4000 carte tv pinnacle pctv rave bt878 noyau 2.6.9.1667 Avec la version d'alsa intégrée dans le noyau et ki me permettait d'avoir je suppose la detection du son au cours de l'installation ( detection réussie par ailleurs ) je n'ai plus de sons apres l'installation meme apres modifications des parametres de alsamixer(augmentation du son master etc.....) j'ai donc telechargé les sources de alsa 1.06 rc1 . En lisant la doc dont je dispose je me suis rendu compte k'il me manquait certains modules notamment le gcc j'ai donc installé la quasi totalité des modules disponibles dans les outils de developpement notamment le gcc et apres cela la commande : ./configure --with-cards=via82xx --with-sequencer=yes;make;make install se lancait correctement j'ai réitéré l'operation avec le dossier alsa-lib-rc1.06 et alsa-utils-rc1.06 avec la commande ./configure ; make ; make install pour les deux modules suivants commandent ki se sont lancées correctement Ensuite a l'etape d'introduction dans le noyau j'ai lancé modprobe snd-via-82xx j'obtient la reponse # ce ki je suppose donc est ok, idem pour les commandes suivantes modprobe snd-pcm-oss modprobe snd-mixer-oss cependant pour la commande modprobe snd-seq-oss le caratere #ne m'est pas automatiquement retourné j'obtient un message d'erreur fatale avec une invitation a consulter le fichier dmesg . ce ke j'ai fait et j'obtient les lignes je comprends a peu près qu'il y'a un probleme d'incompatibilité entre les versions des symboles utilisées et le noyau . traduction pure est simple car je suppose ke cela doit etre un peu plus compliqué . Quelqu'un pourrait il m'aider a comprendre et resoudre ce probleme. j'essaie avec la doc dont je dispose mais je n'y arrive pas et cela fait deja quelques jours :( . je n'ai pas internet chez moi et je me connecte via un cyber café ce ki ne facilite pas les choses quand a la lecture des differentes choses concernant ce probleme.
