Des DLCs en préparation

Dear Pathfinders!

As many of you have noticed, the Imperial Edition in our new pre-orders on Steam and GoG contains a season pass. We have received many questions and comments about this from you, so let us address the most urgent ones, starting with the nature of the DLC contained in the season pass.

After the end of our crowdfunding campaign, many of you have sent us requests for additional races, classes and other content and features to be added as DLC after release. So we are going to work on some additional content post-release to make the game even bigger and better and to add even more to the experience! This is going to be funded, you guessed it, with the help of the season pass. No content is cut from the base game for this! Pathfinder: Kingmaker will release with all the content, all the races, classes, story chapters, absolutely everything we promised during our Kickstarter campaign. You get the full game, as promised.

Over the coming months after release, we are going to release several DLC packs. The first three of these DLC packs will be in the first season pass. You will also be able to buy each DLC on its own when it releases. We will release more information about the contents and estimated release dates of each DLC at a later date. Don't worry, all will be revealed before the release of Pathfinder: Kingmaker!

As for the pricing, our Imperial Edition has everything contained in the Royal Edition, as well as the season pass. Because of that, it costs $15 more than the Royal Edition. The season pass is going to contain about $40 worth of DLC. Those of you not interested in the Imperial Edition will be able to purchase a standalone season pass when we get a little closer to release. As mentioned before, each DLC will also be available for purchase on its own.

One more thing: we are giving the first season pass to every backer, who pledged $95 or more for our beta tiers on Kickstarter or $110 on our crowdfunding-preorders for free as a thank you for helping us beta-test our early builds! So if you're one of our beta supporters, there's no need for you to buy the season pass - you'll be getting it from us, free of charge!

Hail to the Kings!

Owlcats

Fortitude / Will / Reflex

Spoiler :

Fortitude Fortitude saves measure your ability to stand up to physical punishment or attacks against your vitality and health. Generally, when you are subject to an unusual or magic attack, you get a saving throw to avoid or reduce the effect. Like an attack roll, a saving throw is a d20 roll plus a bonus based on your class and level, and an associated ability. Your Constitution modifier is added to your fortitude saving throws.

Will Will saves reflect your resistance to mental influence  as well as many magical effects. Generally, when you are subject to an unusual or magic attack, you get a saving throw to avoid or reduce the effect. Like an attack roll, a saving throw is a d20 roll plus a bonus based on your class and level, and an associated ability. Your Wisdom modifier is added to your fortitude saving throws.

Reflex Reflex saves test your resistance to dodge area attacks and unexpected situations. Generally, when you are subject to an unusual or magic attack, you get a saving throw to avoid or reduce the effect. Like an attack roll, a saving throw is a d20 roll plus a bonus based on your class and level, and an associated ability. Your Dexterity modifier is added to your fortitude saving throws.

Spoiler :

The Alchemist's reputation is not softened by his exuberance (some would say dangerous recklessness) in perfecting his magical extracts and potion-like creations, infusing these substances with magic siphoned from his aura and using his own body as experimental stock. Nor is it mollified by the alchemist's almost gleeful passion for building explosive bombs and discovering strange new poisons and method for their use. These traits, while making him a liability and risk for most civilized organizations and institutions of higher learning, seem to fit quite well with most adventuring groups

Archétype 2: grenadier

Spoiler :

Grenadiers train to exercise their talents in the thick of battle, even when not under the influence of their mutagens. They learn methods of combining weapon attacks with their alchemical magic, and sacrifice skill with poisons in order to become more adept at using alchemical bombs or using alchemical items in conjunction with their martial skills. As an unusual side effect of their skill at handling bombs and alchemical items with increased speed, grenadiers master the ability to drink potions, elixirs, and mutagens quickly and safely, without exposing themself to peril while doing so

Ability utilisés chez l'alchemist :

Spoiler :

Alchimist Profiencies
Alchimists are proficient with all simple weapons and bombs. They are also proficient with light armor, but not with shields

Bomb
In addition to magical extracts, alchemists are adept at swiftly mixing various volatile chemicals and infusing them with their magical reserves to create powerful bombs that they can hurl at their enemies. An alchemist can use a number of bombs each day equal to his class level + his intelligence modifier

Thrown bombs have a range of 30 feet and use the Throw Splash Weapon special attack. Bomb are considered weapons and can be selected using feats such as Point-Blank Shot and Weapon Focus. On a direct hit, an alchemist's bomb inflicts 1d6 points of fire damage + additional damage equal to the alchemist's Intelligence modifier. The damage of an alchemist's bomb increases by 1d6 points at every odd-numbered alchemist level (this bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit or by using feats such as Vital Strike). Splash damage from an alchemist's bomb is always equal to the bomb's minimum damage (so if the bomb would deal 2d6+4 points of fire damage on a direct hit, its splash damage would be 6 points of fire damage). Those caught in the splash damage can attemp a reflex save for half damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10+ 1/2 the alchemist's level + the Alchemist's Intelligence modifier

Mutagen
At 1st level, an alchemist discovers how to create a mutagen that he can imbibe in order to heighten his physical prowess at the cost of his personnality.

It's a standard action to drink a mutagen. Upon being imbihed, the mutagen causes the alchemist to grow bulkier and more bestial, granting him a +2 natural armor bonus and a +4 alchemist bonus to the selected ability score for 10 minutes per alchemist's level. In addition, while the mutagen is in effect, the alchemist take a -2 penalty to one of his mental ability scores. If the mutagen enhances his Strenght, it applies a penalty to his Intelligence. If it enhances his Dexterity, it applies a penalty to his Wisdom. If it enhances his Constitution, it applies a penalty to his Charisma.

Favorite Class Bonus (Hit Points)
Your character gains additionnal hit points every level he gains in his favorite class

Throw Anything
You receive a +1 circumstance bonus on attack rolls made with thrown splash weapons

Discovery
At 2nd level, and then again every 2 levels thereafter (up to 18th level), an alchemist makes an incredible alchemichal discovery. Unless otherwise noted, an alchemis cannot select an individual discovery more than once. Some discoveries can only be made if the alchemist has met certain prerequisites first, such an uncovering other discoveries. Only one such discovery can be applied to an individual bomb. The DC of any saving throw callled for by a discovery is equal to 10 +1/2 the alchemist's level + the alchemist's Intelligence modifier

Poison Resistance
At 2nd level, an alchemist gains a +2 bonus on all saving throws against poison. This bonus increases to +4 at 5th level, and then again to +6 to 8th level. At 10th level, an alchemist becomes completely immune to poison

Precise Bomb
When the Alchemist throws a bomb, he doesn't affect allies

Alchemical Weapon
At 2nd level, a grenadier can infuse a weapon or piece of ammunition with a single harmful alchemical liquid or powder, such as Acid Flask or Alchemist's fire.

This action consumes the alchemical item, but transfers its effect to the weapon in question. The alchemical item takes full effect on the next creature struck by the weapon, but doesn't splash, spread, affect additional targets, or benefit from any other effacts that specifically affect splash weapons. Any extra damage added is not doubled on a critical hit. The alcemical treatment causes no harm to the weapon treated, and wears off 1 minute after being applied if no blow is struck. Infusing a new alchemical item also removes the effect of any alchemical liquid or powder previously applied with this ability. At 6th level, a grenadier can use her alchemical weapon ability as a swift action. At 15th level, this ability become a free action.

Directed Blast
At 6th level, a grenadier can detonate a bomb so that it splashes in a 30-foot cona rather than affecting a radius. The cone starts at the alchemist and extends away from her in the direction she chooses. Each creature within the cone takes damage as if it had suffered a direct hit from the alchemist's bomb, but succeeding at a Reflex save (DC=10 +1/2 the alchemist's level + the alchemist's Intelligence modifier) halves the damage

Staggering Blast
At 10th level, a grenadier's bomb become particularity overwhelming when they explode. Whenever a grenadier scores a successful critical hit with a bomb, the creature directly struck by that bomb is staggered for 1d4+1 rounds. A successful Fortitude save (DC equals the bomb's Reflex save DC to avoid splash damage) reduces the duration to 1 round

Sneak Attack
If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.
The rogue's attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every 2 rogue levels thereafter. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet. Rhis additional damage is precision damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit.

With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (such as a sap, unarmed strike, or whip), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack - not even with the usual -4 penalty.

The rogue must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A rogue cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with total concealment.

Advanced Talent
After 10th level, a character can choose one of the advanced rogue talents in place of a rogue talent

Bah...

Spoiler :

Favorite Class Bonus (Hit Points)
Your character gains additionnal hit points every level he gains in his favorite class

Fast movement
A barbarian's land speed is faster than the norm for her race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor or medium armor, and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian's speed because of any load carried or armorm worn. This bonus stacks with any other bonuses to the barbarian's land speed.

Rage
A barbarian can call upon inner reserves of strength and ferocity, granting her additionnal combat prowess. Starting at 1st level, a barbarian can rage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + her Constitution's modifier. At each level after 1st, she can rage for 2 additional rounds. Temporary increases to Constitution, such as those gained from rage and spells like bear""s endurance, do not increase the total number of rounds that a barbarian can rage per day. A barbarian can enter rage as a free action. The total number of rounds of rage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours do not need to be consecutive.

While in rage, a barbarian gains a +4 morale bonus to her Strength and Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saves. In addition, she takes a -2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants the barbarian 2 hit points by Hit Dice, but these dissapear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.

A barbarian can end her rage as a free action and is fatigued after rage for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A barbarian can not enter  a new rage while fatigued or exhausted but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a barbarian falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends, placing her in peril of death.

Barbarian proficiencies
A barbarian is proficient with all simple and martial weapon, light armor, medium armor, and shield (except tower shield)

Uncanny Dodge
The character can react to danger before her senses would normally allow her to do so. She cannot be caught flat-footed, nor does she lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. She still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A character with this ability can still lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against her.

If a rogue already has uncanny dodge from a different class, she automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead

Rage power
As a barbarian gains levels, she learns to use her rage in new ways. Starting at 2nd level, a barbarian gains a rage power. She gains another rage power for every two levels of barbarian attained after 2nd level. A Barbarian gains the benefits of rage power only while raging, and some of these powers require the barbarian to take an action first. Unless otherwise noted, a barbarian cannot select an individual power more than once.

Danger Sense
At 3rd level, a barbarian gains a +1 bonus on Reflex save to avoid trap and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks by traps. In addition, she gains a +1 bonus in Perception checks to avoid being surprised by a foe. These bonuses increase by 1 every 3 levels thereafter (to a maximum of +6 at 18th level)

Improved Uncanny Dodge
A character can no longer be flanked. This defense denies another rogue the ability to sneak attack the character by flanking her, unless the attacker has at least four move rogue levels than the target does.

Damage Reduction
At 7th level, a barbarian gains damage reduction. Subtract 1 from the damage the barbarian takes each time she is dealt damage from a weapon or a natural attack. At 10th level, and every three barbarian levels thereafter (13th, 16th and 19th level), this damage reduction rises by 1 point. Damage reduction can reduce damage to 0 but not below 0.

Greater Rage
At 11th level, a barbarian's bonus on melee attack rolls, melee damage rolls, thrown weapon damage rolls, and Will saves while raging increases to +3. In addition, the amount of temporary hit points gained when entering a rage increases to 3 per Hit Die.

Indomitable Will
While in rage, a barbarian of 14th level or higher fains a +4 bonus on Will saves to resist enchantment spells. This bonus stacks with all other modifiers, including the morale bonus on Will saves she also receives during her rage.

Tireless Rage
Starting at 17th level, a barbarian no longer becomes fatigued at the end of her rage

Mighty Rage
At 20th level, a barbarian's bonus on melee attack rolls, melee damage rolls, thrown weapon damange rolls, and Will saves while raging increases to +4. In addition, the amount of temporary hit points gained when entering a rage increases to 4 per Hit Die.

Armor Proficiency (Heavy Armor)

Indomitable Stance
An Armored Hulk gains a +1 bonus on combat maneuver checks and to CMD, and on Reflex saves against trample attacks. She also gains a +1 bonus to her AC against charge attacks and no attack and damage rolls against charging creatures. This ability replaces fast movement.

Armored Swiftness
At 2nd level, an armored Hulk moves faster in medium and heavy armor. When wearing medium or heavy armor, an armored Hulk can move 5 feet faster than normal

Resilience of Steel
At 3rd level, an amored hulk is able to use her amor to help avoid deadly hits. While wearing heavy armor, she gains at +1 bonus to AC that applies only on critical hit confirmation rolls. This bonus increases by +1 every 3 levels beyond 3rd (maximum +6 at 18th level)

Improved Armored Swiftness
At 5th level, an armored Hulk moves faster in medium and heavy armor. When wearing medium or heavy armor, an armored Hulk can move 10 feet faster than normal

War Beast
At 1st level, a mad dog gains the service of an animal companion, using the barbarian's level as her effective druid level

Pack Tactics
At 2nd level, a mad dog and her war beast gain a +4 bonus on attack rolls while flanking the same oppenent (instead of the normal +2 bonus)

Ferocious Fetch
At 5th level, a mad dog's war beast gains Improved Trip as bonus feat.

Improved Trip : Tou can attempt to trip  tour oppenent in place of a melee attack. You can only trip an oppenent who is no more than one size category larger than you.

If your attack exceeds the target's CMD, the target is knocked prone. If the target has more than two legs, add +2 to the DC of the combat maneuver attack roll for each additional leg it has. Some creatures - such as oozes, creatures without leg, and flying creatures- cannot be tripped.

in addition, you receive a +2 bonus on checks made to trip a foe. You also receive a +2 bonus to your Combat Maneuver Defense whenever an oppenent tries to trip you.

Throat Cutter
At 14th level, whenever her war beast succeeds at a bull rush, overrun, or trip combat maneuver against an oppenent threatened by the mad dog, a mad dog can take an attack of opportunity against that oppenent

: achimist

  • Peut lancer des sorts
  • Base Attack Bonus : 0
  • Jet de sauvegarde (Fortitude / Will / Reflex) : 3 / 1 / 2
  • Abilities principaux : Mutagen et Bomb

Alchemist pur

Seconde classe : barbarian

• Ne peut pas lancer de sort
• Base Attack Bonus : +1
• Jet de sauvegarde (Fortitude / Will / Reflex) : 3 / 1 / 0
• Abilities principaux : Rage et Fast Movement

Barbarian pur

D'énormes bonus en Will saves

• Base Attack Bonus : 0
• Jet de sauvegarde (Fortitude / Will / Reflex) : 1 / 3 / 2
• Abilities principaux : Chant et Connaisances

Bard pur

"Move slider to change volume of magic chants sound".
