Or try to install another videocard on your pc, so you'll know if the problem comes from the motherboard or the videocard. PS: test with the powercolor's driver like say discos |

then the ATI driver : omega/pluton then directx 8.1 the audio drivers then a test with Directx 3D : crash , nothing , the same : black hole screen : GodDamned ! |

Agp en 2x under directx 8.1 sur jeux : unreal trounament , rally championchip 2002 etc... black screen or white screen : rien est affiche ! test Direct3D under directx the first one : blacl screen and on the second one : the cube rotating ! je devenir fou ! si quelquun meme config moi pouvoir aider ! pourtant etre passionné par ce monde info... il doit manquer quelque chose que je faire pas bien ; besoin aide, surtout etre isolé et loin de tout .... merci pour tout aide de vous tout le monde ! |

1) Installe ton système (apparement Win2k pro) 2) installe le Service pack 2 3) installe les derniers drivers via4in1 4) installe le dernier driver ATI pour ton Os 5) Ensuite les autres drivers (son...) |

Corrige moi ce qui suit pour install je faire ce qui suit : --> install classic windows 2000 --> dans bios disable AGP 4x pour AGP 2x --> download last drivers ati.fr.st : catalyst 02.1 win2000 ? --> avoir besoin ou pas de installer Via driver before catalyst a cause de pas AGP dans Directx !????=> question --> si moi install driver via lesquel prendre ! avoir MSI KT7 Ultra ARU ? --> si moi avoir pas texture dans jeux avant, j'aurais texture meilleures apres vos explication ds'install ???? En clair : si quelqun avoir la manip de A à Z pour moi faciliter temps, etre assez dur quand toi debute en info.... Vais essayer deja avec info de tou le monde merci !!! attend aussi reponse pour question plus haut ;o) Dans tous cas un grand merci a tous .... Comme disait un ami french : "La connaissance s'accroit quand on la partage" Thanks ;o) |
| Gowser | Have you installed the via drivers with Turbo Mode for the AGP because it makes instability on my PC with a Geforce2 GTS so before formatting yur hard drive, try to reinstall the drivers and use standard mode. If it doesn't work, you will have to format and use the procedure of machistador.

so the way you have to histall your system. first the os: 2000 or xp.if it is for games choose xp. then , intall the last via 4 in 1 (viatech.com), it is tje motherboard drivers. the the other drivers, (video, lan if you have, sound...). you have an ati video card, go to ati.fr.st to choose the last one, because, those on da cd are not so good. sorry for the mistakes, 2 years i haven't practice. :hello: |
| bichoco | bizarre que tu ne soit pas allez sur un forum anglais si t'es anglais :heink: Sinon pour ton pb, normalement avec w2000 et xp t'as pas bessoin d'installer les drivers via l'os les installent dés le debut si il détecte un chipset via ( mais du coup c'est pas la derniére version des drivers). Parcontre si tu installes les drivers via " à la main" mets les en 1er avant les drivers de ta radeon, désinstalle les anciens via et verifie que t'as agp 2x dans le bios et non 4x (en 4x tu gagnes rien en perfs et tu perds en stabilité). Si tu veux que je te le refasse en anglais dis le mais ce sera pas parfait ;) |

i've got a PowerColor Radeon 8500 Evil Master II 64 Mo a MotherBoard : MSI KT7 Ultra ARU 512 Mo DDR 2700 and 160 Go HD When i installed classicly your great drivers, without installing before the last via driver, windows 2000 pro restarted well but in DirectX diag, the AGP was disable ! So i decided to install the last via driver and i succeeded to have the Accelared Graphic Proc. (AGP) it was enable ! just one thing, before installing the via driver, i tried some games like : Unreal tournament 2003 and it was terribly slow, when i tried the direct 3D test in directx : the cube began a crazy rotation stangely faster ! after installing the via driver and dx81 : i saw the AGP present but when trying the Diretcx 3D test , the first test : a black screen ! the second test a crazy rotation of the cube ! when trying Unreal 20003 : a black screen, the music behind but impossible to play ! with RallyChampionShip 2002 : white sc'reen ..... Please help me i am lost ! can someone tell me how proceeding when i install my system ! What must i install as driver for mother or not, agp or not, what kind of drivers, the good way !What kind of OS must i use : win2k or winXp !? because i think that is a bad start but i can succed ;o) I am totaly lost, i think that this card is a very one that so what i took it ! May this is a new product so the driver must be a very little instable ! but when you see serious tests on the intenet relating the quality of this card, you think that tey succed to install a optimise it !
