Question :
On my A7V266-E when I turn off the power the Bios settings are not saved I have to re-enter the Date and time.
Answer :
On Page 24 of the Manual it shows the CLRTC jumper as it may need to be installed to clear the BIOS. This is correct. But the Jumper must not be connected with the power applied or with the power connected to the wall power as it will have the +5 Volt stand. By voltage to the MB, if so it may damage the MB. To Clear the BIOS Please Disconnect the power then install the Jumper Cap for about 10 seconds then remove the Jumper and then and Only then can you re-connect the power from the wall. If you have connected the power with this jumper in place please connect our TSD or RMA for repair of your MB.
