as i read before in yhis ng, when this question was asked to Epox, they replied that if your northbridge is silver printed, and has the number 0059C (or something like this) then it does not suuport athlon xp, but if it´s printed with some any other colour and has the number 0108C, then it does support. maybe you should look at it before buying any cpu.

I found on another ng that if you had rev 1.0 you should be ok their is no
sliver numbers on my northbridge chip someone said if you had a board below
rev 1.0 you had to check your northbridge chip
yes it would be nice if their was an archive but looks like we are not even
keeping the ng
