For which scanner can the XP driver be used? There are more Compact Scan USB 19200 scanners available, but the XP driver can ONLY BE USED on item no. 12386.This item no. is mention on the bottom of the scanner. Check it well before installing and testing the driver.Otherwise you will not be able to install the driver / to get it running.
Drivers available for Windows XP? yes, new XP driver v1.2 available for download at the Trust site (12386_05.EXE)Note: make sure all previous installed drivers and software are removed and the scanner is disconnected1) download and extract the file and run "web.exe" to install the driver and panel software.2) after driver installation connect scanner to USB port and select option to automatically find the driver3) at the message "not passed Windows Logo testing" click "Continue Anyway"4) install the included application software as specified in the user's manualThe scanner is now ready to use.NOTE: The "Help" function is not available in Windows XP.
