Je vais très certainement passer de mon PIII500E à un PIV 1,6A ou 1,8A. Je connais un peu la carte Asus, avez vous des feedbacks sur d'autres CM 478 avec DDR & Northwood on it ?

PS : ne me demandez pas pourquoi, je n'ai rien obtenu avec la recherche.

J'en prendrai pour 1 dollar

stabilité, performance & overclocking = ASUS P4T-E (en plus la RDRAM n'est plus si cher que ca avec la montée de la DDR).

Elle se booste la RD-RAM ?
Je prévoyais d'o/c pour passer la FSB de 4x100 à 4x133 avec de la PC2100.

Moi j'ai cette config:
Intel PIV Williamette, 1800/100x18
ASUS P4T-E, socket 478, chipset i850

Oc à 2070:
Processeur @2070, Fréquence Bus Système: 115MHz
512 Mo RD-Ram PC800 - RIMM - 40 ns @460
100% stable,
pas de chauffe intempestive avec le ventilo d'origine.

Ou la solution DDR, P4B266 qui s'o/c quand même bien et super stable si tu n'exagère pas en poussant trop loin le CPU.

C'est bien les brou$ouf$ mon problème sachant quand même que la solution AMD est incompatible avec les décibels autorisés dans mon salon.

A cause du logiciel SETI qui tourne dessus:
Si tu o/c trop, tu fausses tous les calculs.
Il y a une wu de test sur http://www.teamlambchop.com/
tu l'exécute et tu compare le résultat:
si je monte au-dessus de 2070 les résultats sont faux !
