en cherchant à équiper de RAM un Dell Inspiron 530s, je suis tombé sur ce commentaire sur Amazon
"When people complain about the compatibiliy of these sticks they do because they lack the proper knowledge or responsibility to check for compatibility with their motherboards.
These are 1.8V modules and there's a good chance they won't work on a motherboard that supports 2V+. If you overclock them they won't work either... that would be a minus but not for one who knows they are compatible with every 1.8V board.
I for one have a MSI 750i SLI that supports 1.8V and they work fine. They don't run too hot either. If one says they do they must either have bad system ventilation (most of them don't even care to keep a clean cable-free case for a good airflow) or have them overclocked and expect them to run at cool temperatures.
Remember, they don't come with a heat sink to help overclocking them, they come with it to help them cope with the heat they generate at normal usage! "

Ma question : est-ce quand je choisis de la RAM je dois donc faire attention au voltage ? Même sans overclocker sur une machine qui n'est pas faite pour ça ?

car même sur les barettes les plus agressive en terme de perf , t'as toujours un profil par défaut afin d'assurer la compatibilité

Le voltage standard pour ce type de RAM DDR2 SDRAM(667/800-MHz)  c'est quoi ?
 
Pourquoi dans son commentaire le type dit "These are 1.8V modules and there's a good chance they won't work on a motherboard that supports 2V+." ?

1.8v est la tension standard DDR2, mais certaine barettes DDR2 demande du 2v, voir plus il faut voir les spec exact rapport a tes rettes.

précision :  
 
sache qu'une barrette certifié à 2.1v ( c'est souvent le cas pour les modèles les plus agressifs ) fonctionnera aussi à 1.8v mais avec des réglages plus lent  
 
exemple d'une ram en 800 mhtz @ 12 4 4 4  
 
par défaut elle fonctionnera en général à 800 @ 18 5 5 5 ou 15 5 5 5 à 1.8v.  pour les passer en 12 4 4 4 , il faudra passer le voltage à 2/2.1v
