Graduate/ Junior Hedge Fund Sales
We raise investment capital for single manager hedge funds. An excellent opportunity to join a busy international marketing team within a boutique financial services company based in London. Due to its continued growth and success, the company is expanding its sales capabilities.
Degree from a top academic, preferably French, institution in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred. Consideration will be given to applicants with liberal arts degrees.

The Role
After: • Undertaking appropriate training and if necessary: • Passing the Securities Institute examinations • Gaining Approved Person status with the Financial Services Authority
The role will be to:
• Develop relationships with predominantly French institutional investors in hedge funds • Actively market XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX funds to those investors • Secure investment subscriptions into the funds • Provide such updates on a periodic basis to keep investors fully informed
In fulfilling this role, the salesperson will need to:
• Develop a thorough understanding of asset management in general and hedge fund strategies in particular • Get to know in-depth the fund managers and strategies of funds represented by XXXXXXXXXXXXXXx• Conduct considerable desk research to generate leads • Attend whatever conferences may offer good value in terms of lead generation • Cold call by telephone and make extensive use of email communications • Build relationships by telephone, email and via periodic marketing meetings with potential investors, recording all salient details on a CRM database system • Arrange and participate in fund manager roadshows • Understand and assist in the administration processes of subscriptions and redemptions in the funds • Undertaking the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) or CFA qualifications
