1. Context of the mission
 
We are actively searching for a Global Markets Risk Management Analyst Developer to participate to Basle2 mandatory projects. The Analyst Developer will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below.
 
2. Language requirement
 
English is a must. French or Dutch knowledge is preferable.
 
3. Localisation of the job
Brussels.
 
4. Period mission
Start Date : ASAP – mid April 2009 as a deadline
Duration : 3 months with possibility of extension.
 
5. Required knowledge and experience
- Required level and content of education : University graduate.
- Personal skills
. Mandatory : Business and results orientation, clear communication and reporting, autonomy, team work
- Business experience required
. Mandatory : 1-3 years of professional experience in Global Markets Risk Management or Basle2 area
. Preferable : Financial products including (exotic) derivatives lifecycle and valuation
- Technical experience required
. Mandatory : 3-5 years development experience
. Preferable : preferably in SAS
- Functional experience required
. Mandatory : Synthetic analysis, Basle2 and Global Markets, Market, Credit, Legal and Operational Risk Management process
 
 
6. Objective of the job
 
- Analysis and development of Basle2 solutions in Global Markets area, in an existing SAS application. Merging basic Basle2 knowledge with Risk Management process understanding (to facilitate daily interactions with our business), financial products lifecycle and pricing knowledge and analysis and development expertise.
