Bah je ne me suis jamais vraiment posé la question. Ceci dit, le peu de photos de familles datant des années 20-30 que j'ai pu voir avaient une piètre qualité. La première photo du post datant de 1906 est incroyable (sans "s" sisi tkt :o ) de netteté et de contraste.

normal ce sont des plaques de verre qui font une taille respectable (style A5 ou voir A4 je crois?) et en noir et blanc
alors bon même du 24x36mm c'est ridicule a coté  :D  
d'ailleurs sur le site tu vois souvent bien le passage années 60 et la couleur en + avec une qualité largement dégradée  :D

Les photos de la page précédente et des années 30 / 60 sont faites avec un rolefleix et une pellicule argentique dite 120.
J'en ai eu un, ça coûte une blinde, mais c'est sublime.
Ça pourrait aussi être un hasselblad en 6x6 ou en 120.

J'ai utilisé du 6x6 dans ma jeunesse. Ca fait des photos HD mais carrées (a moins de les crop au tirage mais on perd le côté HD)

la pellicule est la même en 120, sauf que le format utile fait 45 x 60 mm...
