clair ! sauf que j'ai pas trouvé de projet avec les sources du client x86_64 compilable (SETI c'est un bordel leur CVS) et encore moins de client déja compilé x86_64.
Du coup je suis content avec mon client BOINC x86_64 qui bench comme un ouf, il a rien à calculer :lol:

Surtout je les trouve pas réactifs pour intégrer de nouvelles plateformes. Dommage en 64bits c'est forcément plus rapide ( moins d'accès en RAM, plus de précision en un calcul,....)

J'ai pas eu le temps de passer en 4.19 sur le Bi-Xéon. Le Mono doit y être. Je relève le benchs cet AM et je les poste !

Mais j'en met ma main a couper dans le feu :crazy: que dès que WinXP sort en Final release x86_64 on va voir les clients Windoze x86_64 fleurir :mad:
Linux + x86_64 ça tourne depuis 2003 :pfff:

C'est vrai que c'est lamentable pour un projet de ce type soutenu par SUN qui a donné quelques serveurs il me semble.

3.2 ghz 512 Ko L2 + 1Mo L3, core M0 (pas un Nacona Prescott)

Ben chui qu'un particulier [:spamafote]

Mais bon, on va optimiser tout ça avec de la bonne ram, un bon FSB et un ptit O/C qui va bien :jap:

Bench fait a l'arravhe avec une bonne dizaine de pourcent cpu utilise par les autres log.(flemme de couper tout)

Hé oui, toujours et encore une histoire de 32 bits ! Ton A64 ne tourne qu'en mode 32 avec le client BOINC. Le pire c'est que les clients SETI/CPDN/PRedictor etc cie.... ne sont qu'ne 32 bits

Donc à fréquence équivalente ( mise à part les petites évolution sur le core du proco), les prefs sont identiques [:spamafote]

Un A64 avec un client x86_64 se serait tout de même + intéressant quand il s'agit de faire du calcul de masse

En double (Whetstone) les Gallatin sont 2x plus performant que les Nacona
Pourtant FSB 800 + DDR2 (quoique les perfs DDR2 en FSB 800...)

Comparé à de la DDR 480 en 2.5-3-3 en dual, ça fait pas le poids.

Enfin à priori les Xeon ne tiennent même pas 3500 full stable à 1.5V

Si, le 4100MHz c'est avec le vapo, mais réglé en vitesse d'utilisation 24/7 (2500 t/mn et ventillos à 60%). Dès que j'ai un peu de temps, je mets 3500 et 100%
