Si oui il faut aussi regarder sa temp car ce n'est pas que la temp du gpu qui est utilisé pour refroidir.

Bon, ben c'est bien le gpu qui passe en surchauffe, quand ça coupe le gpu est à 100°. Le truc c'est que je n'ai pas l'impression que le ventilateur passe à son maximum. J'ai l'impression que ça monte au max à 3/4, et non pas à 4/4 (à fond ça turbine très vite). Il y passe des fois, mais pas durant le jeu.

Je suis curieux de savoir comment on peut faire pour que ça soit géré. C'est comme si dans la gestion du ventilo il tenait pas compte de la temp du gpu. :??:

EDIT: je me demande si ce n'est pas à cause du pilote proprio nvidia...

EDIT2: j'ai aussi des pb de wifi, comme j'avais sur l'autre pc, j'ai l'impression qu'il y a pas mal de problème de ce côté là sur ce kernel???? (pourtant c'est du chipset intel là...)

J'ai essayé tout ce que je pouvais, pas moyen de faire fonctionner le micro de ma X-FI Extreme Audio sous Ubuntu 14.04 :'(

J'envisage de la remplacer par une carte son qui aurait une "vraie" entrée micro, et non partagée avec l'entrée "line in" comme sur la X-FI.

Quelqu'un posséderait la Sound Blaster Audigy FX 5.1 ? Et pourrait me dire si le micro fonctionne parfaitement ?

Ou éventuellement une autre carte son PCI-E à recommander ?

je n'ai pas de carte son (tout passe l'hdmi vers l'ampli) mais j'utilise un casque Creative USB sans fil avec micro intégré et c'est très bien reconnu sur 13.10 (pas testé 14.04).
et je peux n'utiliser que le micro sans le casque (c'est un micro amovible, donc j'ai rajouté une rallonge jack si je n'utilise que le micro pour éviter de mettre le casque).

Oui, un micro USB est une solution (cela revient à avoir une carte son USB en plus)

Pour la "X-FI Extreme" il est peut-être possible de faire un fichier de config ALSA qui s'occuperait du problème (par exemple forcer l'entrée en mode "micro" si ça vient de là). Un fichier ~/.asoundrc
A creuser, je ne peux t'en dire plus

Salut, je vous expose mon problème (enfin pas vraiment le mien mais bon )
Une connaissance qui touche pas grand chose aux PC, quelque soit l'OS d'ailleurs, s'est fait installer une distrib HandyLinux sur son laptop Dell (studio quelque chose, je sais plus), par quelqu'un qui voulait surement bien faire.
Elle me dit qu'elle sait pas lire les cartes SD via le lecteur intégré, et effectivement rien ne se lance, j'imagine que c'est un souci de driver car en mettant une clé usb l'explorateur de fichier se lance.

Après avoir "joué" 2 min avec son ordi je me dis que ça a l'air vraiment d'être une distrib étrange, je retrouve pas les paramètres, les menus sont bizarres etc.
Ayant utilisé assez longtemps ubuntu y a quelques années, je me dis qu'il vaut ptet mieux que je lui installe ça, qu'y a surement plus de chance que son matos soit supporté, et que la distrib sera toujours aussi user-friendly que ce truc bizarre d'Handylinux

Si ce n'est pas un problème de drivers, ça devrait aller. Tu peux toujours mettre une live USB pour vérifier. J'ai une préférence pour Xubuntu parce que j'y trouve vite mes repères. Menu démarrer, légère, tout ça... Ubuntu elle même est passée au bureau Unity et il faut aimer. Tu peux toujours télécharger et jouer avec dans une machine virtuelle pour voir si tu trouve ça assez user-friendly.

J'avais pas pensé à la live usb, c'est une bonne idée! Comme ça elle pourra tester elle-même après tout.
Unity ou pas c'est une question de feeling j'imagine.

Salut,
Tu peux tenter de trouver les drivers ou il est Possible que les drivers soient integrés dans un noyau plus recent.

sudo synaptic

Dans le champs de recherche tu mets "linux-image" et tu choisis un kernel en 3.12 ou 3.13 ou 3.14 correspondant à l'archi.
Si tu as un doute sur la version installé

uname -a

Te donnera la version de noyau en cours

Je ne m'y connais pas des masses et j'attendrais confirmation de quelqu'un de plus compétent mais je crois que oui, un peu. Parce que debian essaye d'être plus "pure" au niveau des drivers proprio et qu'ubuntu inclut tous le drivers qu'il peut tant que c'est légal.

Un fois je mets ubuntu au féminin, une fois au masculin... :whistle:

J'ai un problème de wifi sur mon laptop : ça me déconnecte aléatoirement. C'est aussi aléatoire pour se reconnecter, il me demande mon pass wpa etc ... Une solution qui semble marcher un peu, c'est de désactiver la carte avec le raccourci clavier et de la ré-activer. C'est un soucis de cryptage wpa?

Je ne vous cache pas que c'est chiant. Je suis physiquement à 3m de la "box".
Je précise qu'avec android (téléphone) ou windows (un autre pc) tout marche bien.

Petite question toute bête: je suis passé depuis peu en Ubuntu 14.04 et tout va bien pour le moment, à part un petit problème agaçant: j'ai perdu la 'liaison' entre les types de fichiers et les programmes à utiliser. [:cerveau arn0]

Exemple: si je clique sur un lien apt, habituellement le programme "Ubuntu Software Manager" s'ouvre pour m'installer un paquet. Autre exemple: si je télécharge un torrent, Transmission s'ouvrait automatiquement pour lancer le téléchargement. [:cerveau arn0]

Désormais, quand je clique sur un fichier, j'ai une fenêtre qui me demande de sélectionner le programme, et un browser s'ouvre. Problème: je n'ai aucune idée d'où aller chercher la liste des programmes installés que j'utilisais habituellement pour "refaire" les liens... [:ula]

Installe http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/ubuntu_tweak et vas dans le "gestionnaire de type de fichier" puis "tous" et tu choisi

Sous Kubuntu c'est dans Configuration du Système/Association de fichiers

Plus simple

et en tapant dans Google : Association de fichiers ubuntu t'as des tuto à gogo...

Je viens du monde Mac et je viens d'acheter un PC portable sous windows 8. J'ai envie d'en profiter pour essayer Ubuntu. On peut le conseiller a quelqu'un qui est complètement étranger au monde Linux? L'installation n'est pas trop galère ? J'imagine qu'en terme d'applications on trouve plus ou moins tout ce dont un utilisateur lambda peut avoir besoin ? D'ailleurs vous avez des sites a conseiller ?

Et ensuite tu pries pour que grub ( qui permet de choisir son OS ) apparaisse au redémarrage ( et c'est pas gagné )

Je te laisse chercher sur le forum Ubuntu, il y a des tas de tutoriels qui détaillent tout cela

C'est discutable.
C'est sur que point de vue sécurité ( pas de virus ) et mise à jour ( pas les horribles mises à jour ultra pénibles de Windows ) c'est mieux... mais pour le reste faut voir au cas par cas...

Moi de mon expérience ce que je dirais :
- sur les pc fixes globalement pas de problèmes, ça roule même plutôt très bien
- sur les pc portables c'est plus mitigé. Parfois tout fonctionne très bien ( comme sur le Dell de ma compagne ) et parfois c'est un peu la galère ( comme sur mon Toshiba )

Bref avant de se lancer, je pense qu'il est indispensable au moins pour les Pc portables de se renseigner sur la compatibilité de son matériel avant.

Tout à fait, ta mise en garde est justifiée Mobilis In Mobile.

J'ai en effet pas tenu compte de la version préinstallée ... que je n'utilise JAMAIS, car c'est vraiment la m... ce genre de versions sponsorisées, plus ou moins dépendantes du fabricant de la machine.

Dans mon exemple d'install UBUNTU, le portable MSI est vendu sans Windows, avec uniquement Free DOS.

Sinon, il est vrai qu'avec un portable Windows préinstallé, cela complique un peu les choses.

Perso, dans ce cas, je chercherai à installer Ubuntu sur disque dur externe sans toucher à la config du disque dur interne où se trouve installé Windows et ensuite, sous Windows, de créer un double démarrage avec l'utilitaire EasyBCD 2.2 ... reste que cela nécessite un petit peu d'expérience du dual boot, sans pour autant exiger beaucoup de compétence.

Bonjour,

J'ai installé Xubuntu 14.04 dans une machine virtuelle sur mon micro server.

Je souhaite le piloter avec vnc.

le server vino démarre bien avec la session, j'ai paramétré les préférences mais j'ai toujours une erreur connexion time out 10060 quand j'essaye de me connecter sur ma machine windows..

avant j'avais l'erreur connexion refusé car je n'avais pas ajouté la regle sur le port 5900 dans ufw.

Est ce le seul port à ajouter? j'ai vu le 5800 aussi mais pas encore tenté ?

je précise que mon pc est en wifi mais je n'ai pas de souci avec un autre service

"netstat -putan" : ça devrait te donner une bonne des ports en écoute sur ta machine. Tu as vérifié sans firewall pour voir si le flux passait ?

Dans usr/bin/vino-preferences
Il faut cocher "autoriser d'autres utilisateurs à voir ton bureau." attribuer un pass etc...

Sinon tu peux tester une connexion ssh + sftp (selon ce que tu souhaites faire, ça peut-être suffisant)

Vérifie les process et les ports en écoute avec les programmes en face.

j'ai coché lancer au démarrage dans les préférences et j'ai bien modifié les préférences de vino avec vino-preferences.

par contre, je progresse, j'arrive a me connecter avec une autre vm ubuntu 14.04 sous vinagre "vinagre ip :1"
sous windows j'ai tjrs mon ecran gris avec un message "unencrypted connection" sous vnc viewer. je vois qu'il y a une version 5.2. je vais tester avec

il manque le L je trouve que ça fait encore plus mémotechnique

netstat -laputn
