J'ai installé le driver nVidia et le serveur graphique (avec DebConf) sur mon Toshiba Satellite pro 2100 (GeForce 4 420 Go, 32Mo dédiés, 14.1" ). Le problème, c'est que j'affiche en 640x480 (alors que je peux monter en 1024x768@60Hz) avec une barre verticale noire à droite et ma souris optique usb ne répond pas correctement.
 
Dans le log, je vois que HorizSync et VertRefresh sont réajustés. Plusieurs résolutions sont testées mais refusées car HorizSync et VertRefresh sont hors limites. En ce qui concerne la souris, je pense avoir entré les bons paramètres dans /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 mais il n'arrive pas à l'ouvrir.
 
J'ai essayé de passer de Woody à Sid mais ça n'a rien changé.

Je pensais entrer HorizSync et VertRefresh à la main mais ces données ne sont pas indiquées dans la notice et ils n'en savent pas plus chez Toshiba.

PS : pour la souris, j'ai installé hotplug et usbutils...

En appliquant les réglages du Satellite 2410, j'ai résolu le problème d'affichage http://www.thorstenhaas.de/toshiba2410/

Sur mon portable, si je mets le touchpad en "ImPS/2" ça part en live. Par contre en le repassant en "PS/2" plus de problème.

Alors là, je crois que j'ai à faire à un esprit maléfique !
 
Quand je mets PS/2 au lieu de ImPS/2 pour ma souris, ça ne change rien. Mais si je fais ça pour le TouchPad, ben, mon TouchPad déconne mais ma souris fonctionne...
