Les déclarations de l'ambassadeur de Russie à Paris sur un éventuel départ du président syrien Bachar al-Assad sont "sans fondement", a annoncé vendredi la télévision d'Etat syrienne.
 
"Les déclarations attribuées à l'ambassadeur russe à Paris sur le fait que le président Assad ait accepté de quitter le pouvoir d'une manière civilisée sont totalement sans fondement", indique la télévision syrienne réagissant aux propos d'Alexandre Orlov.

"Ce sera difficile pour lui de rester après tout ce qui s'est passé (...) Assad accepte de partir mais d'une façon civilisée" - Alexandre Orlov sur RFI

Ces Tunisiens en transit vers un improbable eldorado
Comme des milliers d'autres jeunes Tunisiens, Mehdi, Sahbi et Tarek ont entrepris le voyage vers l'Europe après la chute du régime de Ben Ali. A Lausanne, simple étape d'un périple à l'issue incertaine, rencontre avec ces naufragés qui s’accrochent à l’espoir ténu d’un avenir meilleur.
 
Un soir, à la télévision, il tombe sur un reportage illustrant la situation des immigrés tunisiens débarquant à la frontière tessinoise. «Des Tunisiens m'ont dit que la Suisse était un pays bien, le seul où l'on pouvait obtenir l'asile». Le 23 mai, il se présente au centre d'enregistrement de Chiasso, ouvre une procédure d’asile, obtient ainsi un permis provisoire (livret N), puis est transféré à Lausanne, où il ronge désormais son frein. Considéré comme un migrant économique, Mehdi sait qu'il n'a pratiquement aucune chance d'obtenir l'asile en Suisse. Mais il refuse de baisser les bras: «De toute façon, je ne veux pas retourner en Tunisie!»
 
Sahbi et Tarek, cousin de Mehdi qui vient de déposer une demande d'asile au centre d'enregistrement de Vallorbe, dans le canton de Vaud, après avoir erré trois mois dans les parcs de Toulouse, gardent un très mauvais souvenir de leur passage en France: «Il y a beaucoup de racisme et de contrôles policiers. En Suisse, on peut se promener plus tranquillement».
 

«Les demandeurs d’asile originaires du Maghreb se révèlent souvent extrêmement exigeants. Ils arrivent avec une idée bien précise de la vie en Suisse, qui ne s’avère pas conforme à la réalité. C’est très frustrant pour eux et cela a des effets sur la vie quotidienne dans les centres d’accueil», indique Roman Della Rossa.
 
«Les requérants sous l’emprise de drogues ou d’alcool peuvent être à l’origine de situations délicates, y compris des bagarres, poursuit-il. Toutefois, ces violences mettent généralement aux prises les demandeurs d’asile entre eux.»
 
Une cause perdue
 
Dans le canton de Lucerne, Caritas est mandaté par le gouvernement pour accueillir et loger les demandeurs d’asile. Selon Giorgio Leuenberger, directeur des services lucernois de l’asile de Caritas, tout ceci n’a rien à voir avec les Tunisiens ni avec le Printemps arabe».
 
Pour lui, les Tunisiens arrivés cette année en Suisse ont un vécu bien particulier: «La plupart de ces jeunes hommes ont séjourné en Italie, où ils ont vécu en marge de la société, parfois sans domicile. Beaucoup d’entre eux ont des addictions à l’alcool, à la drogue ou d’autres problèmes personnels. Et ils réalisent très rapidement qu’ils n’ont aucune chance ici.»
 
Les doléances exprimées par les Tunisiens dans les médias, selon lesquelles la Suisse n’a rien fait pour eux et les traite mal, traduisent, selon Giorgio Leuenberger, une réaction de frustration commune à tous les demandeurs d’asile confrontés à cette procédure.
