Bah ouais, ca me fait un peu peur. Via urpmi ya que la version 2.6.3 de dispo ya pas la 2.7.0 ou 2.8.0 donc ca doit pas marcher avec ma carte mere. Pourtant ya un post a ce sujet sur le forum et le mec ca a marché

This is just a quick and dirty hack to get the hardware monitoring working
on the ASUS P4B board under Linux.
It works by turning on the SMBus PCI device.
It is implemented as a module, p4b_smbus.o.
It only works with the ICH2 (82801BA) and ICH4 (82801DB).
ASUS switches off the SMBus PCI Device
in the i801 ICH2/4 chip. I spoke two times
with the German support and learned that: "We do not want the users to be
irritated by just another PCI Device in the Win98 device manager."
Really funny :-).

Ce qui pourrais expliquer mes pb. Il y a également la soluce en dessous. Je testerai ca ce soir en esperant que ca vienne de ca.

1°/ le contenu de son /etc/modules.conf, vue k'il doit y copier des lignes dedans pour charger les modules k'il faut
2°/ si il avait copié les lignes des insmod dans par exemple /etc/rc.local ?

bah ouais, je sais bien. Je vais retenter ce soir avec l'astuce pour les p4b, on verra bien. j'aimerais bien que ca fonctionne. Je commence a aprécier la mandrake (surtout qd je vois les nouvelles failles dans windows et les patchs a appliquer).

J'ai une debian sid avec noyau 2.6.3.
J'ai une mobo asus a7n8x Deluxe-E (nforce2), et je voulais avoir mes temperatures, ainsi que la vitesse de mes ventilo.

Je pensais que la config du noyau suffisait pour pouvoir activer les sondes, j'ai fait comme ci dessous :
devices drivers / character devices / i2c support)
i2c support en dur
i2c device interface en dur
les 2 i2c Algorithms en dur
i2c hardware Bus support -> ISA bus support en dur
I2C Hardware Sensors Chip support -> Winbond W83781D, W83782D, W83783S, W83627HF
, Asus AS99127F en dur

Plus le support en dure du i2c nforce2.

J'ai regardé un peu les topic de HFR, et :

If you found that the adapter hung after probing a certain address, you can
specify that address to remain unprobed. That often

Bin moa je viens de l'installer sur une asus A7N8X e Deluxe, sous Mandrake 10 Official....via urpmi

J'ai réussi à lancer gkrellm, qui m'affiche pas mal d'infos, mais pas ce qui m'intérresse : Les températures et la vitesse des ventilos.

Voici les modules chargés en rapport avec LM_sensors.

bon, en fait j'ai modprobé (??) les modules qui manquaient (eeprom et asb100) et j'ai eu des résultat !

Par contre, il semble falloir iunverser les valeurs données pour la carte mère et le proco. 45°C pour la CM, ca fait beaucoup, alors que 25°C pour le proc, ca fait peu quand même !
